SJVN organises 2nd edition of ‘Pratibimb 2019’
- The second edition of SJVN’s annual cultural and literary festival, ‘Pratibimb 2019,’ was inaugurated at its headquarters.
- The festival was inaugurated by SJVN Limited’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Nand Lal Sharma.
- 10 teams of various projects and offices of SJVN Limited are participating in a total of nine different cultural events.
- This is for the first time that such a mega event is being hosted by the Corporate Headquaters.
HP to launch mission Indradhanush 2.0 in district Chamba
- Indradhanush 2.0, a mission aimed at achieving full immunisation of children and pregnant women will be launched in Chamba district.
- Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar said that the Centre had indentified Chamba district for Indradhanush 2.0 which would be launched in the first week of December.
Drug park must have a mechanism to lessen pollution in BBN area
- The bulk of drug industrial units fall in the red category, whose pollution index score is 70 and above.
- The Baddi industrial cluster falls in the severely polluting category as its comprehensive environment pollution index is rated at 68.26 by the Central Pollution control Board.
- Land measuring 663 bighas has been identified for setting up the park in Kripalpur in Nalagarh.
