  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university is mandatory.

  • MBBS graduates who have passed the final examination but not completed internship may apply provisionally.

HPPSC HPAS 2026 Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Examination
  • Two objective-type papers:
  • General Studies Paper-I (200 marks)
  • Aptitude Test Paper-II (200 marks) – qualifying with 33%
  • Negative marking of one-third per wrong answer
  • Merit for Mains is based only on General Studies Paper-I
  • Candidates scoring zero or negative in Paper-I are disqualified
