Himachal Pradesh is front runner state in the country in effective implementation of Jal Jeeven Mis
- Piped drinking water supply through tap would be provided by July, 2022 to every household in the state through Jal Javeen Mission, which is being implemented in the State.
- Chief Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Jal Jeevan Mission on 15th August, 2019 with the provision of Rs. 3.5 lakh crore which envisages to provide functional household tap connection to every rural household by 2024 in the country.
