- Migratory birds flock to Mandi from Siberia,China, Tibet and European Countries To Mandi and Kangra Pong Reserviour.
- Migratory birds have chosen the Beas and a few other water reservoirs in Mandi as their habitat.
- Forest Department has identified a few birds as Ruddy Shedlduck, Siberian stonechat, Common Sandpiper, Tufted Duck, Citrine Wagtail, Little Cormorant, Greylag goose, Whishkered tern, Great Cormorant, red-wattled lapwing, Common Shelduck, Wood Sandpiper, Oriental Darter, Pond Heron and Ashy crowned sparrow lark.

HP Police Raising Day: 1,000 posts of constables to be filled soon, says CM
- The state government will soon fill up 1,000 vacant posts of constables in Himachal Pradesh Police, chief minister Jai Ram Thakur said on Monday.
- CM. Jai Ram Thakur announced promotion for the police department employees three months before retirement. He also announced a special medal to all police officials on the occasion of 50th anniversary of the state police.
- “The state government is giving priority to women safety and for this purpose, Gudiya Helpline 1515 and Shakti Button Application have been launched,” he said.

Nod to fill 3,636 posts of teacher
- Cabinet approves draft MoU for development of Mandi greenfield airport
- The Cabinet today decided to fill 3,636 posts of JBT, classical and vernacular (C&V) and TGT teacher in the elementary education department.
- The posts will be filled on a contractual basis as per the norms of Recruitment and Promotion Rules. The posts include 684 of TGT arts, 359 TGT non-medical, 261 TGT medical, 1049 shastri, 590 language teacher and 693 posts of JBT teacher.
